department. pam cook is in our newsroom with this call to action to make things better and safer in oakland. what is that about? >> it actually all started 10 years ago with an oakland police scandal known as the riders case and has resurfaced with the occupy movement. police response to occupy oakland last october is called troubling. that comes from the monitor appointed by the court after the rider case to oversee the actions of the oakland police department. he says that the report on the occupy incident finds that oakland police were understaffed and insufficiently prepared during that clash. the new report has recommendations and that is the big concern, is the police following these recommendations. in our next report we will talk more about this, the reforms called for and how they could lead to drastic changes for police. live in the newsroom. pam cook, back over to you. >> police have disclosed more information about the fatal police shooting of allen blueford. the department released several reports from officers, technicians and the coroner's office. some of the witnesses say bl
